Doesnt calculate tax based off of net price after trade in. Uses full price of vehicle to calculate sales tax. Example 40k car trading in a 20k car should only charge tax on 20k not 40k

Go to the car lot knowing all the numbers. This app does it all.

Good for estimates but doesnt take into account for any state tax savings for your trade. In Texas, you save tax percentage on the value of your trade.

Take to the dealer so you can see whats really happening as you bargain away! Put different info in and compare. So quick and straightforward.

This tool is indeed spot on. I have tried to fool myself to no avail.

The app is straight forward and simple. Quickly shows the rate, monthly payment, and amortization schedule. Go for the no adds version.

Its quick, and quite accurate. Id like to see it have a reverse function... For instance, putting in the APR and total monthly payment amount, and let it figure out how long I can request a loan for.... Helping me purchase a vehicle within my means prior to letting a car salesman try to rip me off. But, I like what it does do already!

Im a dealer and always like having an easy calculator on hand and have used a few different ones, this one is by far the best. Easy to use and it works flawlessly! I dont normally rate things but even though it has an ad bar(I didnt pay the 1.99) its a great app

This calculator is way off by $100!?#%@ Better to use the Edmunds app which is accurate to the dollar!

When applying for a loan or planning a purchase, this handy tool offers a quick way to see what that loan could cost per month. By changing the months you can see how fast you can pay off a loan or adjust the months of the term to get to the dollar amount that you would want to pay to fit your budget. An improvement would be to allow years as well as months in the calculation.

This would be a great app if it properly applied the trade in value but instead it treats this value just like down payment. The amount of sales tax you pay on an auto purchase = (sales price-trade in) x sales tax%. So for example, if purchase price is 10k and trade in is 5k, then you would pay tax on the difference (5k). This app applies the sales tax% to the purchase price.

Ads at top of page constantly there & cant view screen. Cant close out ads.

This app is only accurate if you do not have a trade in, or live in one of about 10 states that doesnt use tax credit for a trade in. If you live in one of those that doesnt. Its a 5 star....if you do....its a 3 star at best.

This would be a great app if a few issues were resolved. First, as some others have commented, the sales tax is not properly calculated if there is a trade-in amount. Second, the lease calculation doesnt include Money Factor. On the main screen with the saved loan/lease calcs, the circle to check for comparison appears over the text. Finally, the values input screen should be able to scroll and not just jump fields with the Next and Previous buttons.
